The Process.
I make it hot utilizing whatever equipment I have available to me. All the tracks that I have now, are made without sampling or remaking other artists tracks. The only piece of equipment that I used to compose the beats is the BOSS DR-5. I use a SM-58 microphone for vocals, before the vocals hit the mixer, they are compressed and limited with an ALESIS 3630 compressor. The mic and the DR-5 plug into a SPIRIT PORTFOLIO LITE 12-channel mixer that runs into an AKAI DPS12. The vocals and beats are "sweetend" with an ALESIS MIDIVERB 4 that loops through the mixer. The tracks I have posted excluding "SUN DOES" were recorded strait from the DR-5 and not multi-tracked.

After I have put the beats down on the DPS12 I run that into a MACINTOSH PPC 7500/100av via analog rca plugs, I then digitize that joint using SOUNDEDIT 16 making a 16 bit, 44khz, stereo .AIF file. At that point I transfer the file to a G3 where I edit and compress it into a MPEG or REALAUDIO file, which I upload to the web.
